Waiheke Island Resort is a unique retreat nestled in subtropical gardens overlooking the sparkling waters of Palm Beach and just a five minute walk to the beach.
So close to Auckland, yet far enough away for you to feel that you have escaped the city without the necessity of driving to your destination. Waiheke Island Resort is the perfect place to unwind.
Guests can select one bedroom and two bedroom apartments. All apartments have private decks most with stunning sea views. Our apartments are equipped with King Beds that can be split into two single beds.
Waiheke Island Resort has a fully licensed restaurant and bar with views out to the Hauraki Gulf and surrounding islands. You can relax with friends in our reception area beside an open fire.

We enjoyed our stay staff were friendly and professional, room and facilities were excellent , it was easy to book on Shortrates.com and would recommend to anyone in future.

we had a wonderful time and a lot of the reason for that was your wonderful accomodating staff, that nothing was a problem ,eg it was raining and you let us book in early,as if it was no problem, cleaning staff were helpful, we came back from attending a wedding very hungry and your resturant doors were locked, but a kind staff member open up and found us something to tied us over until your wonderful breakfast. These are just a few things that made this stay one of our most enjoyable.thank-you great facilities and great attitude and smiles everywhere

Villas 3 and 5 were great for family, quiet as well.
Meals fine and catered for small children well.
Advertised as 5 mins walk from beach ok going down but very hilly on the way back.Female Staff very obliging.

Villa 22 was cold damp and smelt musty.Heater needs upgrading.Entrance door was extremly hard to slide open.Noise from the above unit was annoying during the night with people walking to and fro.Restaurant meals were excellent ,breakfasts satisfying.
2 bedroom villa a better deal.

Accommodation was great, extra large kingsize bed, private with fantastic views overlooking Palm Beach. Staff very helpful and friendly. Only one negative comment and that's the water pressure on the shower - a tad low. Other than that, I would highly recommend the Waiheke Island Resort. Forgot to mention that if you need to use public transport, the bus stop is right outside the resort. From our first stay at the resort, loved Waiheke Island so much that we ended up moving over here ... we're in paradise!!!
