The Park is the newest and largest accommodation facility in the National Park and is located on the edge of the Tongariro National Park. The Park is conveniently located in the National Park Village with lots of parking and a very handy short walk to the bus depot, local bars/restaurants and shop.
Your National Park stay will be memorable this winter in motel, hotel or back packer style rooms all complete with en suite.
You choose from modern bunk rooms for a cost effective stay or splash out on a self contained loft apartment.
National Park Village itself is a sleepy hamlet more at one with the wilderness and adventure activities than roaring nightlife. So, relax, put your feet up and soak away any travel stress in our outdoor spa, in front of a roaring fire or in the Spiral Cafe and Bar on site.

The Park is located on the edge of the Tongariro National Park - the home of New Zealand’s Whakapapa and Turoa ski fields. As well as snow sports the National Park and surrounding areas provide the perfect backdrop for mountain biking, white water rafting, kayaking, hiking, quad biking, rock climbing, caving, jet boat riding, trout fishing or relaxing in thermal springs.
Directions
The Park is located in National Park Village, near the base of Mt Ruapehu, at the intersection of State Highway 4 & State Highway 47. We are on the intersection of Millar St and SH 47.
Cancellation and Extra Guest policy
Extra Guests on Request @ $15/person
Our cancellation policy is as follows: If you cancel the reservation within seven days of arrival we can charge 50% of the first night’s accommodation. If you cancel the reservation within forty eight hours of arrival we can charge the full accommodation booking, unless the full reservation is transferred to an alternative date(s) where we have availability.

Bunk backpacker rooms - ideal for those on a budget, a hostel with all the luxuries of the lodge.
Our modern bunk rooms contain a fridge, 3 x bunk sets, cupboard and ensuite.
We supply the bed linen - bring or hire a towel.
Guests are welcome to use our large communal kitchen, dining area, lounge areas, restaurant and bar all located onsite.
Book per bed (1 room = 1 bed) - dorms are mixed. If you would like to book the whole room please send an exquiry or contact us directly.
