No not happy, due to lack of communication or whatever between shortrates and the motel, our room was not booked therefore instead of the upgraded room we were meant to have - we did not!! Was not overly impressed by this. Would suggest that the communication levels are improved.

Basic, older room but with spectacular views over Whakarewarewa and the geyser. Would recommend this hotel as a well priced place to stay with friendly staff.

Great views ,although the decor was a bit tired.Bathroom was newly furbished and very nice ,bed comfortable.
Nice restuarant,although a long wait for dinner,needed
more staff as the one waitress was run off her feet, delivering room service ,seeing to the bar and also the restaurant. But all in all a pleasant stay

I was extremely disappointed in my choice of motel, on arrival we were put into a very tiny room with no view and no fridge, i had booked and had been offered an upgrade to geyser view room, on seeing the room i went back to the office, to say this wasn't what had been booked. I was told there were no other rooms. eventually when i told them i would not be staying in that room, i was given a geyser view room, but i feel the quality of this accommodation is very outdated. the beds were very old and uncomfortable, the picture on the wall very old, a nice picture of Rotorua would liven the room up. I feel the prime location of the hotel should have prime accommodation, i would be prepared to pay double what i did if it was a nice room, but far from it, would not stay there again. Breakfast was really disappointing, our cooked breakfast tasted and looked like it had sat there for hours.
on a positive note we went out for dinner at the end of Fenton
Street, were all the restaurants are now out on the road, we had two really nice meals here, recommend this location to anyone.

Not happy with my stay at all. We booked this hotel as it had heated pool and spa. On arrival was told that the heat was not working - hence no swim for my grandson. Bar Staff were slow and disinterested.
View was great.

We thought that the room was good value for money as was the continental breakfast. We shall certainly stay there again and also use shortrates again.
Thank you.

We visit regularly from London and stay at Geyserland each time for a night or two to visit relatives. Every time our stay is very comfortable, refreshing, reasonably priced and ofcourse the view is amazing.

The hotel was reasonable inexpensive compared to other hotels on offer and compared to those we stayed in. The hotel and the decor were dated, but our room was neat and clean and had Spectacular views of the Geysers and mud pools!
