Very comfortable
Like having cooking facilities.
No negative comments on room
Was not told that there was no off street parking at Quest on Johnston so the extra cost of $18 - $23 per night somewhat reduces the saving. Not a problem on Saturday for us as Wellington empties out after 4pm but would be a problem mid week

It would have been nice to have been greeted with a smile but this is a minor detail. It was extremely warm in the apartment we had and a fan would have been welcome relief. I have to say though the lady that did the servicing of our apartment was a real treasure.....really helpful.

Great location and I found the staff here really helpful and pleasant. Our room looked right into the windows of the next office block two metres away which was a bit disappointing, but at the price we paid through Shortrates this was tolerable. This particular side of the building was dark as well and the room was without air-conditioning. Being as it was in the middle of a heatwave the shade was welcome, but I wonder how it would fare in winter??? Still - for one or two nights it did the trick. The room had everything necessary and an EXCELLENT bed. And as I said - the staff could not have been more pleasant.

A first rate central accommodation choice. Our reception on arrival was friendly and informative. Our studio apartment provided all we required. Restaurants/bars close by were all up to standard, and we appreciated the fact that we could walk the wonderful Wellington waterfront to get from one end of town to the other. On a nice day, the visit to Kelburn via the cable car was a highlight. Number 1 in our opinion! (The discount was appreciated too!)

Great location. Easy to find. Quality room. Not big, but certainly big enough for 1 or 2. Great rate.

Quest on Johnson was friendly and very helpful. The room was warm, clean and tidy. The leaky shower filled the bathroom floor with water - my only fault. Otherwise I would definitely recommend! Thankyou.

Murray (at reception) was great - friendly and helpful. Accomodation was lovely and handy to buses etc. Got to see the fireworks out our window too...awesome. Only one thing..there seemed to be an airlock (I'm not a plumber, so guessing here!) which meant that there was a loud vibration type noise for a while after each toilet flush. I'm assuming that 4/5 is the best end of the scale. Cheers.

I was concerned that the fridge operated all night. This concern was expressed to the Manager. Some simple additional ventilation should solve the problem - and reduce your electricity usage.

There was no fan in the room so it was very hot. Opening a window meant restaurant noise.
Lady one reception when we arrived was quite rude and unwelcoming we thought. Grey haired lady perhaps late 40s not at all helpful. Other than that it was fine but think we'd stay at the othe Johnston hotel on lambton if we came again

The apartments are located on Johnston Street just between Lambton Quay and Waterloo Quay and not far from the cable car lower terminal which takes you up the hill to the Botanic Gardens. It is situated about halfway between Te Papa Tongarewa and the Parliament area, perfect for walking anywhere in the city.
Enjoyed our stay at Quest on Johnson and found hotel and staff very accommodating. Great location and all amenties were catered for. Only words of advice I would reccommend, would be to take toasters out of rooms to remove the chance of further smoke alrms and fire drills going off.
Parking can be troublesome. Thankfully when we arrived there happened to be one space left out on the street where it sat until the following morning. The front desk booked car park spaces through a local garage for us the following two days. There really was no need to have a car in Wellington due to its compact central district.
