We are approximately 8 minutes drive from the City Centre, right next to the Takapuna Golf course and a 2 minute drive from North Shore Hospital and Fairway Lodge. Since new ownership in November 2004, the Poenamo has been undergoing a major refurbishment program - In 2010 we opened our new reception and added our new deluxe studio which doubles as a conference facility. In 2011 all 18 Poolside Studios were completely refurbished having all had kitchens and brand new furniture installed and bathroom upgrades.
Our hotel restaurant has re-opened under new management as "The Backyard" restaurant/bar or for the big game you may prefer 'Pat's Garage' our onsite sports bar. Also on site we have Gengys Mongolian BBQ Buffet, Hell Pizza, Kebab Fuel, Yim Siam Thai Restaurant and Handi Indian restaurant. We have the Fox Outlet Centre right across the road. Takapuna is 5 mins by car. Golf Course next door and a Westfield Mall 10mins up the road. Movie theatre, tenpin bowling & driving range within 10 mins. Also onsite we have 4 restaurants plus Hell Pizza & Kebab Fuel, 2 bars, drive thru coffee hut & a Super Liquor outlet.

From the airport take the Northern Motorway 1, continue over the Harbour Bridge, take exit 419 onto Northcote Road, turn left and the hotel is the first building on your right (approx 400m)
Cancellation and Extra Guest policy
Upon arrival a $100 bond per night or credit card details will be taken for any incidental costs. If bond not used, it will be returned upon check-out.
Extra guests are charged $15 per night.
Minimum 24hrs notice required for any cancellation or charge equivalent to one nights accommodation will be incurred.
