We've stayed at Pavilions twice in two months both times booked through Shortrates. Each time we paid the $4 booking fee and a 10% deposit. Each time we went to pay the balance on leaving we were told we owed the full amount minus the booking fee - which in our case was $130.00 per night. The second time we were told by staff at the Pavilion that it was our responsibility to sort it out with Shortrates which we refused to do and the staff member decided to go and look it up somewhere other than on the computer that we were standing near and came back and told us that we had in fact paid. It rather puts one off wanting to stay there when its happened both times we've stayed there. Please can it be sorted between the two organisations.

Alas the shower was cold in the morning and 2nd room small with on ly single beds and we were two couples however the bar and staff working there were great and most helpful through out our stay.

We enjoyed our stay the service was excellent only one complaint on our booking it stated complimentary continental breakfast included when I enquired at the desk I was told that this didn't apply.I quite understand as we had a special rate room .When I returned home I checked our booking and it did state clearly that there was a continental breakfast included not a big one but please be clear what the conditions are to avoid embarrassment

The Quality Pavilion hotel is centrally situated in Christchurch and is close to the casino.A big thank you to all the staff for being friendly and helpfull.
