The Nautilus Resort / Motel in Paihia provides studio and two bedroom apartments close to Waitangi on the edge of Paihia- the hub of the beautiful Bay of Islands in the Far North of New Zealand. Book your accommodation with us and you'll be at the heart of modern and historic Northland.
Set in sub tropical gardens, fringed with palm trees and bordering the native bush covered hills.
The Nautilus Resort is only 200 meters from the beautiful, sandy Tii beach; a crescent of golden sand and sheltered, safe waters. Yet the Resort is only 1km from the centre of the village.
Wild life is a-plenty here; Parakeets, Herons, Kingfishers, Plovers, Quails and many other birds are regularly seen in and around the Nautilus. Kiwis shout out at night with their distinctive call.

Directions
Follow the sea shore road in Paihia until you find a roundabout. Turn left and The Nautilus is 200 m up on the right.
Cancellation and Extra Guest policy
Cancellation must be made at least 7 days prior to arrival date. If less than 7 days, we may charge 1 nights accomodation if we cannot re-let the unit. For "No Shows" we will charge the whole booking amount. If after arrival, the guest choses to leave earlier than the booked departure date, we will charge the whole booking amount.

I rate it 4.5 stars. We had a fabulous stay and the motel was more than comfortable with electric blankets and great heating. Very clean, tidy and decor kept up to date. Bonus pool and spa and very tidy grounds. I preferred my sister's two bedroom unit if we had three people but for the price it was fine. Pleasantly surprised with all the extras in the bathroom and well appointed kitchen etc. Woolworths nextdoor was excellent too. If I return I would be happy to stay again and recommend to friends and family.

This apartment was perfect for our needs. The living room was very spacious and had a well appointed kitchen with all necessities and lots of choices for tea and coffee. The bathroom had nice little touches which incl a plaster and Panadol as well as the usual shampoo, shower cap, etc. Although it had no view, was right next door to a Woolworths which was extremely handy. Short walk to the beach and not far from the Paihia shops and restaurants. The kids loved the electric blankets and there was a TV in the main bedroom as well as the lounge. Very comfortable stay. Recommended!!
