The Kiwi International Airport Hotel is just 5 kilometres from Auckland Airport and offers affordable, friendly accommodation ideal for the traveller flying in or out of Auckland.

The Hotel has a 24-hour reception and a free 24-hour shuttle service to and from the airport. There are freephones at both the Auckland International and Domestic Airport terminals that connect to this service.

Set in expansive, park-like grounds, the complex consists of a 50 room Hotel with twin, double and triple studio units, each with an en-suite bathroom, hair-dryer, TV, direct dial telephone and tea and coffee making facilities.

In the courtyard area there are Hostel rooms, each with its own ensuite bathroom and cooking facilities.

The Hotel's Restaurant is open for breakfast and dinner. The lounge and bar look out to the fern filled gardens.

Off street car parking is free. Guests may also leave their cars parked at the Hotel for upto 14 days while overseas.

Free internet 20mins+ free shuttle bus to airport was good. But the problem for this motel is. Too quiet, bad air in the room. Feel difficult to breath.

For the price the room was below average. Mould all around the bathroom. Obvious defects in the tiling, presents a hygiene issue. if we had known before we booked that would have alerted us and if a discount was offered online, we would have then made our own choice. There were renovations in progress at the time. The air conditioner/ heater was not clear if you wanted heat and even the manager of the day was not clear, in the end my son worked it out. Staff were helpful. Wake-up call was welcomed. The shuttle was on time and the staff there were very pleasant at the early hour we were up. The rooms would have to be a lot better for me to book there again.

Bedroom and linen ok. Bathroom not acceptable and a health risk. Shower/bath unusable with black ceiling mould, wall coverings and bath base patchy, shower curtain minus half the hooks and stained. Very nearly asked to be shifted!!! Would not stay again unless upgraded facilities.

Very polite and helpful staff who attended well to our needs even though we arrived at 1.30 in the morning. The Hotel itself is showing a little "age" though but still suitable for our quick stay as a starting point for our movements elsewhere after arriving from the airport.

VERY CONVENIANT TO THE AIRPORT AND HELPFULL STAFF ON THE TRANSFERS , WOULD USE AGAIN FOR THE EXTRAS IN SERVICES PROVIDED.
