Very friendly staff, just a bit confusing what to do about parking. Parked in Wilson parking then suggested i remove and bring out front of building if i was wanting to use outside of parking open hours.

Thank goodeness we printed off the receipt and winter deal that we had booked which we gave them when we checked in. When we checked our receipt on the Monday we had been charged the full amount for everything. I emailed them with the information from shortrates, within two hours they had phoned with an apology and credited our card the same day. Other than that the experience and service was great value for money.

Convenient, very clean, well appointed room - with mirror beside plug for hair straightener. Only moaned about response to request for car to be parked at reception which was to go and speak to the concierge at another counter (when all bits of luggage in arms and tiring drive just completed)however reception reconsidered that direction and said it would be arranged by them. I would stay again.

Room was reasonable, appreciated having both bath and shower available.
Only sour note was when I rang to ask for my mobile phone charger to be posted back, as I had left it behind in the room - I was told "it was not handed in".

We stayed in this hotel twice, once on arrival from the UK and again after touring the south of South Island. Don't be put off by the entrance, right beside a multi-storey car park. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable, the second room being especially large with windows on two sides giving great views over the city.
Well located in the CBD and a tall building. My room had a fantastic view. Clean and fresh with all you would expect of an hotel at this level. Service good, staff very friendly and welcoming.
