A smaller room but great value for money considering its central location in Auckland CBD. The staff are very courteous and I would definitely stay there again...

Paid $95 for a room that was worth $60 at best...could barely fit in the shower/on the toilet etc. Very tiny and uncomfortable room - TV got 1 channel Al Jazerra. Thanks for a terrible nights sleep city central hotel.

I would give it a 5 out of 5 if it had provided us a small fridge in the room. It surprised us to find it out with no fridge. Generally, all motels have a fridge in their rooms, no matter what size. However, apart from it, its location is super and convenient to every where. The staff members are friendly.

I found my stay at City Central most enjoyable...the staff are very helpful and it's close to most things a tourist would want to see. If I travel to New Zealand again I would hope to stay at City Central. At that time I would hope the high speed internet is up and working so I may keep in contact with family at home

The staff were friendly and although the room was quite small it was comfy enough. A bit dissapointing that the bar was not open on a thursday night.

The hotel is clean, well located and very good for traveler. It's a block away from sky tower and Queen st in the opposite direction. So a really central and afforadable stay. The facilities and service are good. The room does what it ment to do. Gives you somewhere clean to put your head at night. Value for your dollar. I suggest you go down to Elliot street and eat at the "Stables" food court. Nice nosh. :-)

It was a great location, close to Skycity, the downtown core. It was great, the people there were helpful and wonderful. Some toothpaste and toothbrush would have been nice! Not the Ritz, but excellent value for money, and ideally situated.
