Shortrates.com Terms and Conditions

                                  
By booking accommodation online through ShortRates.com, ShortRates.co.nz,
shortRates.co.uk or ShortRates.com.au ("ShortRates") you ("the Customer")
agree to the following terms and conditions:

1.  	ShortRates facilitates the booking of accommodation from an inventory supplied 
    	by each hotel. The accommodation provider updates and maintains their 
    	inventory on the ShortRates websites. ShortRates does not accept any liability
    	for unavailability of rooms caused by the hotel over-selling their own room inventory.

2.	ShortRates does not accept any liability for errors or omissions or for direct or 
    	indirect loss arising from the use or indirect use of the accommodation, product 
    	or service purchased through the website. 

3.  	The Customer will be required to provide a credit card at the hotel for the 
    	balance owing and for any incidental charges. Plus may be required to provide 
   	photo ID.

4.  	ShortRates is committed to ensuring that the information on its website is 
    	accurate. However, ShortRates cannot and does not guarantee that the site is 
    	free from errors or faults. As such ShortRates does not accept liability for any 
    	omissions or errors on the ShortRates sites.

5.  	Should the customer cancels a booking within the accommodation providers stated 
    	cancellation policy timeframe or the customer fails to show up for the booking, then 
    	the following actions apply. At the request of the accommodation supplier, ShortRates 
	reserves the right to supply the customers credit card details to the accommodation 
	supplier for part or full reparation of the amount owed on the customers confirmation e-mail. 
        All parties involved will be advised prior to this process taking place. The 10% deposit 
        and booking fee paid to ShortRates is non-refundable.

6. 	If the Customer cancels a booking outside of the accommodation provider's cancellation 
    	policy timeframe then the full 10% deposit taken by ShortRates will be refunded. The 
    	booking fee is non-refundable.

7. 	ShortRates does not accept liability for any errors or omissions and reserves the right 
    	to change information published on the site at any time. 

8. 	ShortRates does not accept liability for any indirect or consequential loss arising out 
    	of the use of or connected with its website or for any products or services purchased from 
    	its website. 

9. 	ShortRates makes no warranty or representation about the fitness or suitability of 
    	any product or service advertised on its website. 

10. 	ShortRates offers are not commissionable to registered travel agents. 

11. 	You must be at least 18 years of age to book accommodation on Shortrates.com. 

12. 	These terms do not affect consumers' statutory rights. 

13. 	All rates are in the local currency of the accommodation supplier.
